Under this arrangement, EXILE will offer the full MultiMesh product line, technical support, training, and integrated service solutions to U.S. and Canadian screen-printing markets. This addition enhances and broadens the Mesh Direct product offering that EXILE currently delivers to its customers.
Developed by Lüscher Technologies, the MultiMesh technology redefines conventional screen production by replacing traditional mesh fabric and emulsion steps with a digitally lasered film method. Instead of using woven mesh, the system uses a closed plastic film stretched over a self-tensioning frame, which is imaged by high-precision thermal lasers to form micro-channels only where ink passage is needed.
The MultiMesh Cube engine system is designed for speed, convenience, and efficiency, boasting:
- Virtually maintenance-free operation and low energy consumption
- Frame compatibility up to approximately 1,200 × 950 mm (with custom sizes available)
- A compact machine footprint (1,925 × 1,632 × 1,338 mm) and continuous throughput for direct MultiMesh imaging
- No requirement for yellow lighting or wet chemical processing
By leveraging this digital screen-making approach, users can realize up to 50% lower cost per screen, eliminate mesh and chemistry, and reduce processing steps by up to 70%.
